FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of emulsion explosive substances and can be used in the mining industry during development of sulphide-containing rocks. The emulsion explosive substance for sulphide-containing rocks comprises ammonium and calcium nitrates, water, calcium oxide as an oxidising phase, an emulsifier as a fuel phase, and a sensitising additive. Calcium chloride binding the water entering the oxidising phase to hydrates of calcium salts is additionally introduced into the oxidising phase. The content of water is determined by the formula
wherein: is the content of water, calcium nitrate and calcium chloride, respectively, % wt., and it contains components in the following ratio, % wt.: Oxidising phase: calcium nitrate 18.0 to 29.0, calcium chloride 0.2 to 6.0, water 8.7 to 9.8, calcium oxide 0.3 to 1.0, ammonium nitrate the rest. Fuel phase: emulsifier 7.2 to 9.0, sensitising additive 0.08 to 0.14.
EFFECT: emulsion explosive substance of this composition does not come into chemical interaction with sulphide-containing rocks at a temperature of up to 50°C and ensures safety during development of such rocks.
