FIELD: thermal power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal power engineering and is intended simultaneously for the production of thermal and electrical energy. A system for the production of thermal and electrical energy based on an external combustion engine is proposed, consisting of a boiler 1 and an external combustion engine 3 kinematically connected to an electric generator 8. Inside the boiler 1 there is a primary heat exchanger 2 connected to the hot heat exchanger 4 of the external combustion engine 3 by a circuit 6 with a liquid coolant, and the cold heat exchanger 5 of the external combustion engine 3 is connected by a secondary circuit 10 with a secondary heat exchanger 11 that gives heat to consumers, while both circuits are equipped with pumps 12, 13. In this case, the external combustion engine can be made in the form of a Stirling engine, and thermal oil can circulate as a liquid coolant in the circuit.
EFFECT: simplifying the design for generating heat and electricity, as well as increasing the efficiency of heat transfer.
