FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to the mining and construction industries. It can be used for the destruction of rocks, mineral and artificial materials with a wide range of strength and abrasiveness. A composite cutter with a mounting device on the operating member of the machine consists of a holder and a replaceable working head fixed to it by means of a detachable connection. The replaceable working head of the cutter is made in the form of a tetrahedron, each vertex of which is reinforced with a hard alloy insert, and in each face there are blind holes for detachable connections with the cutter holder. The cutter is installed in the tool holder with the possibility of fixing its position by means of a stop screw stop in one of the flat faces of the intermediate part of the holder and a stop for the working head made in front of the tool holder. The tool holder is rigidly fixed on the operating member of the machine.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in productivity and a decrease in the specific consumption of cutters during the destruction of rocks, mineral and artificial materials.
