FIELD: fibres.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for regeneration of fibres from unfoiled, foiled and/or pressure-treated carpet residues and/or residues of bottom layers of textile multi-layered composites, in particular, floor linings or baggage compartment linings in the automotive industry. The method includes the following stages: the residues are cut to the desired size in the longitudinal and transverse direction, then the cut residues are developed in the first pinching process using one or two roller retractors. The fibres are then roughly separated from the dust and powder components, and the separated fibres are sent for dosing and, if necessary, accumulation, wherein the separated fibres are moistened or steam-treated, in particular, conditioned. The fibres are subjected to at least one second continuous pinching process.

EFFECT: resulting fibers are applied for manufacturing non-woven materials or noise-insulating structural elements in the automotive industry, providing a possibility of reusing waste fibres of carpets and bottom layers of textile composites in the automotive industry.
