SUBSTANCE: the oxygen-fuel burner (1) is configured to be placed in the wall of the melting furnace and contains a housing (2) defining an oxidizer supply channel (3) extending in the longitudinal direction from the upstream end to the downstream end of the housing with an outlet on the downstream end of the housing, a fuel supply channel (5) extending in the longitudinal direction of the housing, the outlet of which is located at the downstream end of the housing, and an oxygen injector (4) extending longitudinally inside the fuel supply channel (5), the outlet of which is located at the downstream end of the housing, as well as the electrode (6) for ignition and flame control, passing inside the channel (3) of the oxidizer supply, made with the possibility of initial ignition of the burner and subsequent control of the flame, and said electrode (6) of ignition and flame control is made with the possibility of connection with the automatic ignition control system and burner flame control. The ignition and flame control electrode (6) is an ionisation electrode. The oxygen injector (4) is configured to supply the oxidizer at a subsonic speed or at a supersonic speed. The oxygen injector (5) is equipped with a Laval nozzle.
EFFECT: invention allows, with less labor costs, increasing the economy of solid fuel, improving the quality of the final product, productivity, economic efficiency, environmental friendliness and safety of the melting furnace, in particular the shaft furnace used for the production of mineral wool, while maintaining the high quality of the final product.
