FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and can be used in the extraction of reserves of thin ore bodies with variable occurrence elements, unstable and medium stability of ore and host rocks. The method consists in mining the ore body by horizontal layers and adjacent paired cuts along the fall-rise of the ore body. At the first stage, ore is excavated in a layered entry. Entrances are fastened with anchor support. Next, blasting is carried out in the ore body of descending parallel contiguous boreholes or small-diameter boreholes. The chipped ore is temporarily left in the lower bench. At the second stage, a layer run is worked through the layer similarly to the overlying one. Then the ore is beaten off in the upper sidecut with ascending parallel contiguous boreholes or small-diameter boreholes and it is released together with the temporarily magnetized ore of the lower sidecut through the butt end. Ore from mining in layered entry and sidetracks is delivered to ore passes and sorted on screens by size class and content.
EFFECT: invention increases development efficiency, improves quality of broken ore, increases productivity and labor safety, reduces the cost of filling and breaking ore.
