FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and can be used in manufacture of lining. The method for manufacturing lining of a metal-melting or metal-pouring apparatus by the additive method includes forming heat-insulating, reinforcing and working layers of the lining by the shotcreting method using a 3D-printer. The layers of the lining are formed by layer-by-layer laying of mixtures corresponding in composition thereof to the laid layer of the lining. The mixtures are sequentially extruded from the printing head of the 3D-printer and laid layer by layer forming a predetermined geometry and thickness of the lining of said apparatus using a control code and in accordance with a computer 3D-model of the lining. After a predetermined amount of layers is applied and a predetermined thickness of the lining is obtained, the lining is smoothed using trowels or a roller.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of geometry and dimensions of the manufactured lining, increase in the speed of manufacture thereof and a possibility of automating the lining process are provided.
