FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for lining of a metallurgical unit of a round shape includes formation of lining layers, in which formation of lining layers is performed sequentially by layer-by-layer extrusion of lining mixtures corresponding to the laid layer from a nozzle of a printing head. The formation of lining is performed with simultaneous rotation of the metallurgical unit of a round shape around its central vertical axis. The rotation of the lined metallurgical unit during lining allows for precise, uniform, and tight round laying of adjacent layers of applied coating at a high speed, as one rod lifting mechanism is mainly used for positioning of the nozzle of the printing head, and process of synchronous control of a set of mechanisms for positioning of the nozzle of the printing head is eliminated, thus eliminating lining defects related to mismatch of synchronicity of operation of controlling mechanisms for positioning of the nozzle of the printing head.
EFFECT: increase in the performance of a process of lining of metallurgical units.
