FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire safety, in particular to aircraft containers for remote spraying of extinguishing agents, and concerns devices for localization and/or extinguishing fires and can be used to effectively combat large-scale and powerful fires, including forest and forest-steppe. An aviation fire extinguishing container contains a reservoir made of a thermoplastic polymer material, a fire extinguishing agent and a spray charge. The reservoir is made in the form of a drop of at least two different-strength parts: the upper part from above has the shape of a cylinder, smoothly turning into a truncated cone, and a convex lower part made in the form of a folding hemisphere with a wall thickness 1.5–2 times less than the upper part of the container. Moreover, the angle of the truncated cone coincides with the solid angle of directional spraying. In addition, a lid is fixed to the upper cylindrical part of the reservoir, in the lower part of which there is a sealed cartridge containing a spray charge and an initiating cord. In the upper part of the lid there is a valve for filling the extinguishing mixture and a tube for removing the initiating cord included in the coupling, into which at least one electric detonator is inserted before lifting the helicopter.
EFFECT: expansion of the technical capabilities of the container due to the effective extinguishing of both upper and lower fires.
