FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of fighting rapidly spreading forest and steppe fires, namely to a modular aircraft fire extinguishing means. Said means is assembled from modules which enable to extinguish a crown forest fire, a ground forest fire, a steppe fire, and includes the following modules: conical deflector (14), housing (6) of modular aircraft fire extinguishing means of round section, sharp-tapered nose cone or a blunt-tapered nose cone (12), internal longitudinal load-bearing frame (8), electronic unit (5) for monitoring the state of the modular aviation fire extinguishing means with the determination of its coordinates after dropping from the carrier and initiation of the explosion, housing (4) for fastening the electronic unit to the housing of the modular aviation fire extinguishing means and the module with the explosive, module (3) for attaching the cone reflector to the housing, parachute system attachment module (2), parachute system (1), variable cross-sectional area pipe (10) with an explosive located in it, front support (13) for a pipe with an explosive, attachment units (7) of a modular aircraft fire extinguishing means to a carrier, an internal transverse load-bearing frame (9), module (11) for attaching a sharp-tapered nose cone or a blunt-tapered nose cone to the body.

EFFECT: all structural elements, except for the electronic unit, consist of biodegradable or corrosion-unstable material; fire extinguishing liquid is placed inside the housing of the aircraft fire extinguishing means.
