FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used primarily in cooling systems of fuel-generating devices for rocket and space applications. The vaporizer body is made in the form of a flat base and a casing with filling and steam removal fittings located on opposite side walls. In the inner volume of the casing, longitudinal ribs with holes are made, which are rigidly in contact with the capillary-porous nozzle, and the steam collector is a tank bounded by a solid rib with this side wall that is closest to the side wall of the cover of the casing with a steam outlet fitting. The capillary-porous nozzle is made in the form of a two-layer grid consisting of sintered inner and outer layers. The inner layer of the mesh is made of a multilayer fine-mesh mesh material, and the outer layer is made of a coarse-mesh material mated to the inner heated surface of the base. In the inner intercostal cavities of the casing there is a large-pored nozzle in the form of metal felt. In addition, the evaporator can be made with the installation of a return valve on the steam outlet.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of a vaporizer that removes the heat flow with a reduced thermal resistance in the heat exchange zone.
