FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, to methods for purification of the cryolithic zone soils from petroleum pollution. The method for purification of the cryolithic zone soils from petroleum pollution involves isolation of a cumulative culture of native petroleum destructor microorganisms from cryogenic soil taken from the site of pollution. The cumulative culture is developed until the maximum concentration of microbial cells is reached in the cumulative culture and immobilised on the cryogenic soil taken from the petroleum-polluted site, followed by drying in natural conditions "in situ" and introducing into the soil in an amount sufficient for effective degradation of petroleum pollution.
EFFECT: provides a possibility to increase the degree of purification of the cryolithic zone soils from petroleum pollution.
