FIELD: optical radiation detection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of determining the locations of optical radiation sources and concerns a method for single-position determination of the location of an optical radiation source. The method includes the coordinate binding of the photovoltaic cells of the matrix photodetectors of two optoelectronic coordinators, the reception of the radiation of the optical radiation source by two optoelectronic coordinators and the determination of the coordinates of the photovoltaic cells whose output signals have exceeded the threshold value. Optoelectronic coordinators with matrix photodetectors are located at a minimum distance from each other so that their receiving planes are in the same plane. The coordinates of the location of the optical radiation source are calculated from the values of the coordinates of the photovoltaic cells, the output signals of which exceeded the threshold value, the values of the parameters of the optical system of optoelectronic coordinators and the parameters of the mutual position of the central photovoltaic cells of the optoelectronic coordinators.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of single-position determination of the location of the optical radiation source, simplifying the method and increasing the signal detection range.
