FIELD: aerodynamic testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aerodynamic testing and can be used to study the conditions of vortex formation and the ingress of foreign objects into the air intakes of a multi-engine power plant of an aircraft. The stand contains a frame consisting of vertical and horizontal frames connected to each other in mutually perpendicular planes, the first engine nacelle with an air intake equipped with an air intake element through it, mounted on a vertical frame, a fixed screen mounted under the engine nacelle on a horizontal frame. It also contains a container with a fluorescent substance located under the inlet part of the air intake, a storage device installed in the outlet part of the engine nacelle, a mechanism for creating an external air flow with the ability to control its direction, speed and degree of unevenness, and a photo/video recording tool. Additionally, a second engine nacelle with an air intake is introduced, while each engine nacelle is equipped with mechanisms for transverse and vertical reciprocating motion, the air intakes are installed with the possibility of moving in a vertical plane with a fixed angle and in the longitudinal axis relative to each other.
EFFECT: increase in the processibility when conducting research, the functionality of the stand when conducting research on the flow of a multi-engine power plant under various engine operating modes and various external conditions.
