WIND TURBINE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC F03D13/20 F03D3/00 F03D13/35

Abstract RU 2755959 C1

FIELD: wind turbines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind turbines with a vertical axis of rotation. The wind turbine consists of power generators 1, 2, a vertical shaft 3, on which the blades are fixed 5. The casings of the rotors 6 of the power generators 1, 2 are rigidly fixed on the shaft 3, thus ensuring the elimination of "beating" of the shaft 3 during its rotation. Electric generators 1, 2 are rigidly fixed on a C-shaped frame, consisting of a vertical profile 9 and two horizontal profiles 10, 11. The axes of the stators with the clamps of the electric generators 1, 2 are rigidly fastened using the fastening flanges 12 on the horizontal profiles 10, 11. The wind turbine is fixed in such a way that there is an angle of 90° between the axis of rotation and the horizontal plane, but fastening at any angle of support is allowed. The free space inside profiles 9, 10, 11 allows you to place the wind turbine control system inside the C-shaped frame, as well as the battery charge control system directly with the battery itself. Both generators, top 2 and bottom 1, run at the same time. The rotors of electric generators 1, 2 are driven by the oncoming air flow, creating a traction force on the active sections of the blades 5. The magnets attached to the rotors of the electric generators 1, 2, rotating, induce in their stator windings an electric current of variable frequency, which is directly proportional to the speed of rotation of the rotors. The resulting electric current is removed from the free ends of the stator windings of electric generators 1, 2.

EFFECT: increased reliability due to rigid fastening of the blade shaft, excluding its "beating" during rotation, and an increase in generating power, providing power redundancy and increased reliability of power supply to end-users of energy, due to the introduction of a second electric generator into the design.
