FIELD: packaging and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reservoir for bactericidal water storage, which is intended for long-term storage of water and drinking water supply. Reservoir comprises vertically oriented housing comprising bottom and side wall, which do not transmit light, and cover, hermetically connected to side wall, a water feed branch pipe, a water discharge branch pipe located in the reservoir bottom area, a light-transmitting protective tube installed inside the reservoir housing in the area of its bottom and parallel to it, and an ultraviolet radiation lamp placed in the protective pipe. Protective pipe is tightly fixed on side wall of reservoir with possibility of free access to its inner cavity from outer side of side wall. Reservoir housing cover is made with possibility of ultraviolet radiation visible control over reservoir inner surface state.

EFFECT: invention provides high intensity of ultraviolet treatment of water in the branch pipe, prolonged bactericidal storage of water, continuous visual inspection of the condition of inner walls of the reservoir housing, simplified installation of the bactericidal lamp and its replacement.
