FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical means of ultraviolet disinfection of water in a stream and is intended for use in water-vending apparatuses and other devices for preparing drinking water. Reactor for ultraviolet dynamic sterilization of water comprises gravity hydraulic accumulator 1 with bottom 2, inlet 3 and outlet 4 branch pipes, as well as a UV radiation source 5 installed in gravitational accumulator 1, which is an ultraviolet lamp in a protective case from a material which is transparent for ultraviolet radiation. Source 5 is located in gravitational hydraulic accumulator 1 in area of its bottom 2 so that length of perpendicular, which is lowered from inlet opening of outlet branch pipe to source of ultraviolet radiation, does not exceed 15 cm. Bottom 2 is made with not over 10 % funnel-like inclination to inlet opening of outlet pair 4 with possibility of providing the effect of sudden narrowing of working flow of water at its flow through outlet branch pipe 4.
EFFECT: disclosed reactor provides continuity of water supply and higher efficiency of sterilization of water at moderate power consumption, which provides operation of ultraviolet radiation source.
