FIELD: goods protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of goods protection from counterfeiting. Comprehensive protective marking contains a physically unclonable function (hereinafter – PUF) and a pointer indicating the location where it is possible to access a digital signature. The digital signature in a digital form certifies a hash value obtained as a result of applying a predefined encryption hash function to data representing a response created by PUF as a response to a request from a predefined “request-response” authentication scheme. PUF contains an unclonable physical structure or configuration configured for the creation of a virtual structure in response to the request. Data representing the response created by PUF as the response to the request of the predefined “request-response” authentication scheme for the unclonable physical structure or configuration configured for the creation of the virtual structure represents at least one recognized aspect or part of the physical structure or virtual structure, respectively.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of protection from counterfeiting.
