The method comprises: an activation step, wherein a physical request is created and applied to the PUF according to a preset request-response identification scheme corresponding to the PUF, a detection step, wherein a response created by the PUF according to the request-response identification scheme is detected as a response to the request and a digital signal constituting the response is created, a processing step wherein the digital signal is processed in order to create the hash value of the response by applying a preset encryption hash function to the digital signal, and an output step wherein the data constituting the created hash value is output as a result of the first reading.
