FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and can be used in the peat industry for peat extraction on undried and natural peat deposits. The method for peat extraction and the device for its implementation make it possible to work out the deposit in a block-by-block way back from the center to the outskirts and simplify the process of delivering extracted and processed peat. During the development process, the complex approaches the peat storage site, which simplifies the transportation of peat products by reducing the operations for moving raw materials. Due to the use of flexible connections in the movement mechanism, the material consumption of the device is reduced.
EFFECT: design of the production body provides the selective extraction of peat from the deposit and its processing directly at the mining site.
