PROCESS OF EXTRACTION OF PEAT FROM PEAT BED Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: peat extraction. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to process of extraction of peat meant for preparation of fuel in the form of lumps for communal-domestic purposes and of fertilizer and other peat products in the form of granules. Process of extraction of peat from peat bed includes preliminary preparation of peat bed, extraction of peat and its transportation. Prepared peat bed is divided into individual lots, upper horizontal peat- forming layer is cut away from first lot with keeping of it. Peat is extracted by selective excavation with wooden inclusions from depth of its occurrence. Then it is transported to stationary technological site where peat is separated from wooden inclusions and stored separately with wooden inclusions being kept in heaps. At termination of excavation cycle upper peat-forming layer removed from second lot is laid on to bottom of first worked-out lot and peat extraction operation is repeated. Peat with wooden inclusions is transported to stationary site periodically or continuously and is sorted by degree of decomposition. Given process ensures intensification of extraction thanks to usage of technology of round-the-year extraction of peat. EFFECT: intensified extraction of peat. 2 cl, 1 dwg
