FIELD: gas distribution.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas distributors used in processing apparatuses for conducting the processes of separating the liquid phase from the gaseous phase and mass transfer processes in a gas-liquid system, and can be used in the gas production, petrochemical and petroleum and gas processing industries. The gas distribution apparatus of the apparatus for separating the liquid phase from the gaseous phase in mass transfer processes, installed inside the apparatus, comprises a cylinder with slits or perforation made in the forming wall thereof. The gas inlet branch pipe installed in the apparatus is connected with said cylinder of the gas distribution apparatus. The outer surface of the cylinder is provided with a multilayer mesh, and the cylinder is divided into sections along the length by means of annular disks with the diameters of holes decreasing in the direction from the gas inlet branch pipe. The density of mesh layers in each section increases in the direction from the gas inlet branch pipe.

EFFECT: structural simplification, reduction in the metal consumption, implementation of a more homogeneous gas flow distribution.
