SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protection of gas and oilfield equipment and pipelines operating in highly mineralized hydrogen sulfide-containing aqueous media from corrosion, as well as to the field of oil and gas transportation. The method involves the interaction of polypropylene polyamine and carboxylic acid with the distillation of reaction water and impurities, while tetrapropylene pentamine [(3,6,9,12-tetramethyl)-1,4,7,10,13-pentamine-tridecane] is used as polypropylene polyamine, which interacts with monocarboxylic acid, which is used as oleic acid, first at a temperature of 160°C for 5.5 hours, then, at a temperature of 260°C for 2.5 hours in the molar ratio of tetrapropylene pentamine and oleic acid equal to 1:2.1, followed by the interaction of the resulting bis-imidazoline with ethylene oxide at a temperature of 45°C in the molar ratio of bis-imidazoline based on tetrapropylene pentamine and ethylene oxide equal to 1:1.05.
