SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the feed industry, namely to methods for obtaining dry extracts of medicinal plants. A method for obtaining a dry licorice extract for a feed additive for farm animals and poultry is proposed, in which the raw material is crushed and moistened in a 9-10% water-ethanol solution for 10 hours, then transferred to an extractor, filled with a 70% water-ethanol solution, heated to 25°C and at the first stage extraction is carried out under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, and the mass is re-filled with a 70% water-ethanol solution, heated to 25°C and extraction is carried out under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, the resulting mass is poured with distilled water at the third stage and extraction is carried out at a modulus of 1 kg÷2 liters for 30 minutes at a relative pressure of - 0.92 kgf/cm2, after which the extract is also drained, the obtained extracts are combined and concentrated in a vacuum, and the thick extract is dried to a dry state. At the same time, the dried licorice leaves are crushed to a particle size of 5 mm. A method for obtaining a dry licorice extract for a feed additive for farm animals and poultry is also proposed, in which the raw material is crushed and moistened in a 20% water-ethanol solution for 9 hours, then transferred to an extractor, filled with a 70% water-ethanol solution, heated to 25°C and at the first stage extraction is carried out under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, and the mass is re-filled with a 70% water-ethanol solution, heated to 25°C and extraction is carried out under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, the resulting mass is poured with distilled water at the third stage and extraction is carried out at a modulus of 1 kg÷2 liters for 30 minutes at a relative pressure of -0.92 kgf/cm2, after which the extract is also drained, the obtained extracts are combined and concentrated in a vacuum, and the thick extract is dried to a dry state. At the same time, the dried licorice roots are crushed to a particle size of 5 mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to optimize the modes of water-ethanol extraction and drying, reduce the consumption of reagents and the duration of the process, increase the yield of the target product and its quality, as well as reduce the costs of subsequent purification, concentration and drying of the resulting product.
