SUBSTANCE: A method for producing a dry extract of dried yarrow flowers for a feed additive for farm animals and birds, characterized by the fact that the feedstock is ground and moistened in an 8-30% water-ethanol solution for 9-13 hours, then transferred to an extractor, filled with 8-25% water-ethanol solution, heated to 25 °C and extraction is performed at the first stage under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, and the mass is re-filled with 15-50% water-ethanol solution, heated to 25 °C and extraction is carried out under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, the resulting mass is poured with distilled water in the third stage and extraction is carried out at a module of 1 kg ÷2 liters for 30 minutes at a relative pressure (-0.92) - (-0.96) kgf/cm2, after which the extract is also drained, the resulting extracts are combined and concentrated in a vacuum, and the thick extract is dried to a dry state.
EFFECT: The present invention enables to optimize the conditions of water-ethanol extraction and drying, reduce the consumption of chemicals and the duration of the process, improve the yield of the target product and its quality, as well as to reduce the costs of subsequent purification, concentration and drying of the resulting product.
