FIELD: personal hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an absorbent structure, preferably for use in absorbent products used in the personal hygiene industry (for example, in women sanitary pads, baby diapers and panties or pads for adults suffering from urinary incontinence). The present invention also relates to an absorbent product including such an absorbent structure, and to a method for manufacturing this absorbent structure. The absorbent structure contains a carrier layer, an auxiliary layer and absorbent material located between them, wherein essentially permanent primary ligaments and essentially temporary secondary ligaments connect the carrier layer and the auxiliary layer together at least partially, wherein essentially temporary secondary ligaments are weakened by the action of liquid on the absorbent structure, while essentially permanent primary ligaments remain unchanged.
EFFECT: present invention anticipates the need for improved flexible, thin, light absorbent structures for an absorbent product in which absorption problems are overcome with the current technology state, during the absorption, distribution and preservation of liquids.
