FIELD: personal usage items.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an absorbent structure, preferably for use in absorbent articles, used in the personal hygiene industry (for example, in feminine hygiene pads, baby pampers and panties or incontinence pads). Present invention also relates to an absorbent article, comprising such an absorbent structure and to a method for manufacturing this absorbent structure. Absorbent structure comprises a carrier layer, an auxiliary layer and an absorbent material, substantially permanent primary ligaments and the substantially temporary secondary ligaments connecting together the carrier layer and the auxiliary layer, at least in part, the substantially temporary secondary bonds being attenuated as a result of the action of the liquid on the absorbent structure, while invariable primary ligaments remain unchanged.

EFFECT: present invention foresees need for improved flexible, thin, light absorbing structures for absorbent product, in which problems of absorption in existing level of equipment during absorption, distribution and storage of liquids are overcome.
