FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining carbon coatings. A method for obtaining pyrocarbon coatings from guanidine derivatives is proposed, including the formation of a pyrocarbon coating by organic compounds during the deposition of pyrocarbon from the gas phase, in which aromatic and aliphatic energy-intensive nitroguanidine derivatives are used as the initial organic compound, which are mixed with a dispersed material, followed by a sharp heating to 300°C, at which the process of decomposition of guanidine derivatives is started with the formation of a pyrocarbon coating on the surface of the dispersed material. Such a coating can be used as a modifier of dispersed fillers of composite materials used in the space engineering industry to impart physico-chemical properties (heat and electrical conductivity, affinity to a polymer composition), in the field of nanotechnology to produce powders based on pyrocarbon.
EFFECT: reduction in the duration and energy intensity of the process, simplification of the method and rejection of artificially created inert media.
