FIELD: locks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the so-called English locks containing a replaceable cylinder secrecy mechanism, also known as the insert of the English lock, and characterises the cam of this cylinder mechanism. The cam of the cylinder secrecy mechanism includes a cam sleeve (1) and at least one cam tooth (17). The cam is equipped with a movement mechanism configured to extend the cam tooth (17) from the cam sleeve (1) and retract the cam tooth (17) into the cam sleeve (1), and the cam tooth (17) is configured to move.
EFFECT: provided are an increase in the strength of the lock due to the elimination of the recess in the body of the cylinder mechanism and an increase in the speed of operation of the lock due to performing two steps of moving the lock bolt in one rotation of the cam.
