FIELD: ropes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed shell is intended for a structural rope (10) with a path between the upper attachment point (16) and the lower attachment point (17). Said shell comprises shell segments (21) assembled along the path of the structural rope, no less than one supporting cable (30) extending along the shell segments and provided with an upper end connected with the structure near the upper attachment point and connecting elements (32) for connecting the shell segments with said no less than one supporting cable. The connecting elements (32) are configured to block the upward movement of the supporting cable (30) relative to the shell segments (21) and provide downward movement of the supporting cable relative to the shell segments.
EFFECT: creation of a shell for a structural rope.
