FIELD: firefighting.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for fire protection of a construction cable including stressed metal reinforcement elements and having a first section, a second section and a connecting area of a coupling located between the first and the second sections. The fire protection apparatus is comprised of a protective coating surrounding the construction cable in the first and second sections and interrupted in the connecting area, and a heat insulating ring, more rigid than the protective coating, located between the reinforcement elements and the coupling in the connecting area and interacting with the protective coating to ensure continuous heat protection for the reinforcement elements along the first section, the connecting area and the second section.
EFFECT: technical result is improved fire protection of construction cables.
