SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the field of creating three-dimensional images on a foamed base, primarily on soft foamed polyurethane or ethylene vinyl acetate, using a laser. The substance of the claimed group of inventions consists in applying a method for application of a three-dimensional image onto a material using a laser, including the stages of processing a graphic image on a computer to configure the laser to apply a three-dimensional image onto a material, applying an output signal to the material whereto the three-dimensional image is applied or whereon engraving is executed using a predominantly carbon dioxide laser with a set power of no more than 60 W and a rate of no more than 0.7 m/s.

EFFECT: claimed group of inventions provides a possibility of creating three-dimensional images on a foamed base on an industrial scale without using additional materials and equipment.
