SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the timber processing industry, in particular to equipment for separating birch bark from bast. The installation for separating birch bark from bast contains a body consisting of two hollow truncated cones, inside which are mounted round plates with triangular cutouts. Wherein on the projections of the plates, there are spring-loaded metal rods with spherical tips on one side and threads on the other. The plates are shifted relative to each other by 22.5 degrees. In this case, the truncated cones and plates are mounted on one drive shaft mounted on the frame in a vertical position with the possibility of counter-rotation by means of gears from the electric motor.

EFFECT: reliability of the structure is increased, the quality of the separation of birch bark from the bast is increased, and the energy consumption of the process is reduced.
