FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polypropylene-based composition, suitable for obtaining moulded products, as well as to the products such as bottles. The composition has the melt flow rate MFR2 (230°C), measured in accordance with ISO 1133, equal to at least 2.0 g/10 minutes, and includes a propylene copolymer (C-PP), a high melt strength polypropylene (HMS-PP) and an α-nucleating agent. The polypropylene copolymer (C-PP) has a content of a comonomer, representing ethylene and/or at least one C4-12 α-olefin, equal or lower than 7.0 wt %, and satisfies the equation R+4.96×C≤95.66 (I), where R represents randomness [%], measured with the application of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and C represents the content of the comonomer [in wt %], measured with the application of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).
EFFECT: composition in accordance with the claimed invention possesses improved technological characteristics due to higher melt flow rate, which makes it possible to obtain bottles with a high degree of gloss and shock resistance, as well as rigidity with the application of extrusion-blow moulding.
