FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering, in particular to tires for wheels of vehicles. The pneumatic tire includes a tread with a shoulder area, beads, carcass, sidewalls, breaker. It is equipped with an additional tire carcass, including threads connecting the shoulder area of the tire with the opposite bead area, passing directly through the inner space of the tire. In addition, the threads of the additional carcass are placed to form an X-shaped intersection in the inner space of the tire.
EFFECT: increased lateral stiffness of the tire and a decrease in deformation under lateral loads, which, in turn, improves the maneuverability and directional stability of the vehicle.
