FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: composite brake pad contains a support plate, a fastening bridge made as a whole with the support plate, composite friction material located on the support plate, and an insert made of another material for restoring the riding surface located within composite friction material. The fastening bridge includes a hole formed in the upper surface of the fastening bridge allowing a fixing key of a spring type to be directed through it to fasten the brake pad to a brake head. In composite friction material, grooves are made adjacent to both of opposite longitudinal sides of the insert for restoring the riding surface, wherein grooves pass between two opposite sides of composite friction material. The insert for restoring the riding surface is made with the possibility of friction on the wheel surface to reduce surface defects, and the hole also passes through the insert for restoring the riding surface.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining a composite brake pad.
