FIELD: steam turbines.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group can be used to improve the reliability and increase the service life of the working blades of the last stages of steam turbines by soldering a wear-resistant stellite pad to the leading edge of a steel rotor blade of a steam turbine. Preliminarily, on each of the surfaces to be soldered, a coating is formed by the electrospark method using a pure silver rod with a thickness of 60-120 mcm as an alloying electrode. In accordance with the first embodiment of the method, a refractory solder powder mixed with an antioxidant flux powder is placed between the surfaces to be brazed. It is heated until the solder powder melts and then the stellite pad is pressed against the rotor blade until the solder solidifies after the heating is turned off. In accordance with another option, the powder of the antioxidant flux is diluted with distilled water in a ratio of 1.0:(0.8-1.0) and applied by wetting the silver coating formed on the surfaces to be soldered, and the solder between the soldered surfaces is placed in the form of a plate with a thickness of 0.6-0.8 mm.
EFFECT: increasing the strength of the brazed joint of the stellite pad and the steel rotor blade of the steam turbine.
