FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surface treatment of blades of steam turbines made of titanium alloy, in particular steam turbines of thermal power plants and nuclear power plants. The method includes applying to the blade surface of a heat-resistant alloy coating with the addition of a hard alloy by electrospark alloying of the titanium alloy blade surface and its further surface-plastic deformation. After that, the coated blade is subjected to thermal cycling in vacuum, which is carried out at a heating rate of 3-5 °C/sec, a cooling rate of 1-3 °C/sec, with a duration of one cycle from 100 to 250 sec with a minimum temperature of 800 °C and a maximum temperature 1000 ° C.
EFFECT: invention increases heat resistance, corrosion resistance, microhardness, wear resistance and toughness and decreases surface roughness.
