FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to a method for treating necrobacteriosis of cloven-hoofed animals, including surgical treatment of the wound surface, its disinfection and antibacterial therapy, characterized in that an ointment is applied to the affected area of the hoof with a brush with the following ratio of components, wt.%: novocaine - 2; oxytetracycline hydrochloride - 7.5; vinyline - 26-50; medical petroleum jelly - the rest; stand for 2-3 minutes to dry, and to increase the immune status of the animal's body, intramuscularly in a roller-like manner, 5 ml of a 10% composition of oxytetracycline hydrochloride on tetravite and/or trivite is injected once. Preferably, for better resorption of the composition, it is heated to a temperature of 38-39°С, and dioxidine and/or a 2% solution of methylene blue are used to disinfect the wound.
EFFECT: increasing the effectiveness of treatment of necrobacteriosis of cloven-hoofed animals, in particular, reindeer.
