FIELD: railway engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway vehicles, in particular to the stops of the front automatic coupling devices. The stop contains side walls and support walls. The side walls contain ribs and upper and lower shelves. There are holes for rivets in the side walls. At the junction of the support wall with the lower shelf, an inclined surface is made. The surface smoothly changes the thickness of the lower shelf in the direction of increasing the cross-section towards the support wall. The size of the radii of the interface of the lower shelf and the stiffeners is greater than the thickness of the support wall.
EFFECT: assigned service life of the stop increases.
