FIELD: apparatuses for making beverages.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a capsule for preparing a beverage. In a capsule containing a substance formed by a mass of free solid particles for preparing a beverage by means of extraction and/or dissolution of the substance by supplying a liquid under pressure into the capsule, a sieve is located between the substance and the lower part, permeable to water and impermeable to the predominant part of the particles of the substance. The sieve is attached to the body of the capsule so that the sieve is detached from the body of the capsule in the process of brewing. Also described is a system for brewing a beverage, containing such capsule, and a method for application of such capsule.

EFFECT: creation of a capsule manufacturable by a simple method with low costs and additionally improvable in terms of processing a substance into a beverage with a high organoleptic and visual quality by means of leaving more space for radial distribution of water throughout the substance between the sieve and the lower part of the body of the capsule.
