FIELD: beverage preparation devices.

SUBSTANCE: coffee capsule comprises container body with inner space and open top part. Filter is attached to the body in its inner space. Coating is soldered to the container over its open top part. Body comprises an upper neck having a vertical plane passing through it, a lower wall and a side wall extending upward from the lower wall. Side wall includes a shoulder for laying, an upper part above the flange and a lower part under the flange. Upper neck and upper part of side wall are connected to each other by chamfered section of wall passing from upper neck in direction of upper part of side wall so that outer surface of chamfer section of wall is located at an angle of about 40–50 degrees relative to vertical plane passing through upper neck. Wall section skewed inside has filter attached thereto. Lower part of the side wall adjoining the collar has average thickness exceeding the average thickness of the lower wall in the zone of lower wall piercing to prevent buckling when piercing the lower wall.

EFFECT: group of inventions ensures reliable fixation of the filter in the capsule capacity and production of a quality beverage.
