SUBSTANCE: stretchable layered material is described. The stretchable layered material may contain a layer of nonwoven material that contains a cluster of threads and has an inner surface and an outer surface, the outer surface having an ordered arrangement of zones with each zone having a sparse region adjacent to the compacted region, the sparse region having the first main mass, and the compacted region having a second main mass that is larger than the first main mass, and the difference in the main masses corresponds to the arrangement of the threads in accordance with the ordered arrangement. The stretchable layered material can contain many elastic strands located at a distance from each other in the direction of transverse stretching. In some examples, elastic strands may have an average interval between strands of no more than 3 mm, and/or an average linear density value of no more than 300, and/or an average pre-deformation value of no more than 250 percent.
