FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention that is a leak monitoring sensor relates to the means of measuring the flow of liquids, mainly of high viscosity and low flow rates. The leak monitoring sensor, according to the invention, consists of a cylindrical housing, on the horizontal axis of which an impeller with blades forming channels is installed in bearings, the inlet and outlet pipes are located respectively on top and bottom of the housing, external side covers are fixed from the ends of the housing, the impeller blades are made in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the impeller, with an inclination at an angle from 15 to 45 degrees relative to the radial direction, internal side covers are fixed at the ends of the impeller, in this case, the axis of the inlet pipe forms an angle with the vertical axis of the sensor in the range from 5 to 45 degrees, and the axis of the outlet pipe coincides with the vertical axis of the leak monitoring sensor.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility of reliable measurement of leakage flow with extremely low values, including in the presence of inclusions in the form of solid particles in the leak.
