SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing gas from boreholes and can be used in the development of fields in the later stages of operation. The method includes measuring the magnitude of the decrease in reservoir pressure in the wells of the first gas production facility launched after reconstruction, after the first month of its operation, after three months, and then after five months of its operation. When carrying out the reconstruction of the second field, providing for its shutdown, measurements of the formation pressure recovery in the wells of the second field, measurements of the average pressure losses at the complex gas treatment unit, the pressure at the inlet to the interfield reservoir are performed. Using the hydrodynamic model of the field area, the input parameters of which are the previously measured values of the decrease in reservoir pressure in the wells of the first field, the average pressure loss at the complex gas treatment unit and the value of the pressure at the inlet to the interfield reservoir, predict the amount of recovery of reservoir and wellhead pressures, allowing to start the fund wells of the second gas field after its reconstruction into operation without additional gas compression.

EFFECT: number of technological operations is reduced, production is simplified, and operating costs are reduced.
