FIELD: testing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of methods and apparatuses for reading and identifying printed or written signs using electronic means and can be applied to determine the authenticity of objects of art, including paintings. Unlike the prototype and other technical solutions, the claimed invention constitutes a comprehensive secure method for determining the authenticity of objects of art, which is achieved by applying the marking of objects of art using simultaneously a self-destructing NFC tag and a QR code printed with invisible ink, with a unique composition including quantum dots, recognisable and readable by a special mobile application while simultaneously applying an ultraviolet light source, wherein the method is implemented using an application installed on the mobile apparatus of any user in the online mode at the location of the object of art within a short period of time by consecutively scanning the NFC tag and the QR code, sending the keys read from said tag and code to the central server for online verification, and displaying the results of determining the authenticity in the application.

EFFECT: significant increase in the reliability of determining the authenticity of an object of art, reduction in the time, labour, material costs of determining the authenticity of objects of art and general expansion in the range of methods for determining the authenticity of objects of art using the most advanced technology.
