FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, namely to a composition suppressing the "quorum sensing" in Chromobacterium violaceum ATCC 31532 bacteria. A composition suppressing the "quorum sensing" in Chromobacterium violaceum ATCC 31532 bacteria, containing two dried aqueous extracts each from oak bark (Quercus cortex), Hypericum grass (Hyperici herba) and birch leaves (Folia Betulae) at the following ratio of components when forming a dual-component composition, wt.%: dried aqueous extract of oak bark (Quercus cortex) - 50.0; dried aqueous extract of Hypericum grass (Hyperici herba) - 50.0; or dried aqueous extract of Hypericum grass (Hyperici herba) - 50.0; dried aqueous extract of birch leaves (Folia Betulae) - 50.0.
EFFECT: above composition efficiently suppresses the "quorum sensing" in Chromobacterium violaceum ATCC 31532 bacteria.
