FIELD: personal protective equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personal protective equipment for the aircraft crew. The pilot's protective helmet contains a helmet and a light filter with left and right movable mounting brackets. The front part of the helmet is made with a viewing slit, closed in front by protective glass, opposite which an upper refractive optical element is installed at an angle of 45° to the line of sight, and a lower refractive optical element is installed between the pilot's eyes and the light filter parallel to the line of sight. A lead plate is attached to the outer side of the lower refractive element, and a mode switching mechanism is fixed between the upper and lower refractive elements, consisting of a power supply, a frame, an ionization analyzer sensor installed in the front of the helmet under a protective glass. A detector is additionally installed in the frontal part of the helmet under the viewing slit. An electric drive is installed in the inner part of the helmet near the left movable bracket for attaching the light filter. The detector consists of a body, a transparent glass ampoule filled with a colorless working solution, on the right side of which an LED is installed, and on the left side there is a first photodiode with a high photosensitivity, a second photodiode with an average photosensitivity and a third photodiode with a low photosensitivity.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility of automatic protection of the pilot's eyes from ultraviolet radiation.
