SUBSTANCE: method for long-term storage of the tank consists in carrying out maintenance, loading silicagel inside the tank, cutting the fabric, sealing the places to be sealed with a cloth, applying putty rollers to the edges of the fabric glued to the places of sealing the tank and applying putty rollers to the places to be sealed. On one of the hatches on the bottom inside the tank, a compensating device is additionally installed in the form of a bag in a semi-compressed state, the edges of which are fixed with a rim around the perimeter of the hatch and made with the possibility of changing the volume of the bag with fluctuations in temperature and atmospheric air pressure. A metal grid is installed on top of the hatch.

EFFECT: invention ensures the preservation of the tank during its long-term storage by maintaining its tightness at all changes in temperature and pressure outside and inside the tank.
