FIELD: storage facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection of vehicle from adverse effect of ambient medium. According to proposed method, after covering of upper part of crawler vehicle with ready-made upper semihood and stopping of non-tight places in lower part of body with special fabrics and putties and drying air inside vehicle, strip of sealing cloth is glued over perimeter of vehicle body with slight free allowance upwards by 15-20 cm, and edges of semihood are connected with upper edge of strip into tight lock.
EFFECT: improved reliability and simplified method of sealing of crawler vehicles with possibility of partial unsealing at any required moment.
